TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Slalom Design
- Acceptance of the order
Any order submitted to Slalom Design is considered final and binding upon receipt of an order confirmation, written approval or deposit, as agreed upon.
- Customized products
The personalized clothing and accessories are manufactured to measure according to specifications approved by the customer.
Once the visuals, logos, colors, sizes, and quantities have been approved, no modification can be guaranteed. Any request for change may result in additional fees and additional delays.
- Price
The prices indicated in the submissions are valid for a period of 30 days, unless otherwise stated.
Prices are established based on the quantities provided at the time of submission. Any change in quantities may result in a revision of the prices.
- Payment
Unless otherwise agreed:
- 50 % is payable upon confirmation of the order;
- The balance is payable before the shipment of the goods;
- Any outstanding balance is subject to interest charges of 2 % per month (24 % per year).
- Production deadlines
Production deadlines are estimates and start upon receipt:
- of all the required information;
- final approvals;
- of the agreed payment.
Slalom Design cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers, suppliers, or any other event beyond its reasonable control.
- Delivery
The transport, customs, brokerage and handling fees, when applicable, are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise indicated in the submission.
The risks associated with the goods are transferred to the customer upon their delivery to the carrier.
- Additional orders
Re-supply orders or additional orders will be produced in accordance with the commercial conditions in effect at the time of the order.
Slalom Design cannot guarantee the same prices, materials, components or colors from one season to the next.
- Samples and sizes
The customer is responsible for validating the participants' sizes before production.
Customized products cannot be returned or exchanged due to a size error or a change in the customer's preference.
- Returns and claims
Any claim regarding a manufacturing defect or production error must be submitted in writing within 15 days of receipt of the goods.
No returns will be accepted without the prior authorization of Slalom Design.
- Intellectual property
The client certifies that they possess the necessary rights to use the logos, trademarks, emblems and graphic elements provided to Slalom Design.
The customer releases Slalom Design from any liability arising from the unauthorized use of such elements.
- Warranty
Slalom Design guarantees its products against manufacturing defects under normal use.
This guarantee excludes, in particular:
- normal wear and tear;
- the damage caused by abusive use;
- damages resulting from improper maintenance;
- the modifications made after delivery.
- Force majeure
Slalom Design cannot be held responsible for any delay or failure to perform resulting in particular from natural disasters, labor conflicts, shortages of raw materials, government actions, wars, pandemics, or any other event beyond its control.
- Applicable law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district of Quebec.
